The origianl photo was a 6" by 4" print. It was scanned using an Agfa SpapScan 1212U, at 300 dpi. The result was then framed and reduced to 200 dpi for an 10" by 8" print. The rollover effect is the same as the transformation to a softer and I think more pleasing photo. This was achieved using PhotoShop's difuse glow filter.
